Service Desk / Helpdesk Suppor
Our client has an urgent requirement for a number of Service Desk Support persons with a background in supporting applications and hardware within a windows environment to provide first/second line support to their internal users.

Key Responsibilities

? To provide Service Desk support to customers with IT technical queries and problems associated with IT applications.
? Analysis and resolution of tracks logged to Service Support Desktop Co-ordinate and communicate the status of all tracks to customers
? Evaluate issues and escalate where necessary.
? Provide training to other team members in specialised areas where required

Key Skills

? Previous Service Desk support experience a must
? Strong customer support skills
? Excellent knowledge of Windows 2000
? Knowledge of TCP/IP
? Excellent hardware knowledge ? both PC/Server/Desktop
? Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
? Excellent interpersonal communication skills
? Excellent telephone manner
? Strong Team Player
? Good documentation skills

Ideally the candidate will have: -
? 2-3 years experience of working in a support environment/team
? IT Diploma qualification desirable
